Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint atau lebih dikenal dengan Rupert Grint adalah aktor kelahiran Watton-at-Stone, England, 24 Agustus 1988. Putra pasangan Nigel Grintdan Jo parsons ini dikenal ketika dirinya mulai bermain dalam film harry potter and the sorcer’s stone pada tahun 2001 bersama daniel radcliffe dan emma watson. Grint berkewarganegaraan inggris yang sempat melaksanakan pendidikan di Top Hat Stage and Screen School in Hertfordshire, England dan Richard Hale School in Hertford, Hertfordshire, England. Sebelum ia bermain dalam film harry potter, grint hanya tampil di pertunjukan sekolahnya dan kelompok teater lokal, Top Hat Stage School.
Karirnya dimulai ketika dirinya menjadi fans dari novel harry potter. Ketika itu ia bertekad ingin mendapatkan peran dalam film harry potter tersebut. Untuk

Setelah itu ia pun mendapatkan peran di film harry potter sebagai Ron Weasley di film harry potter perdana tahun 2001 berjudul Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Setelah film itu, grint pun langsung membintangi film komedi inggris berjudul Thunderpants pada tahun 2002. Grint pun dipercaya untuk tetap berperan menjadi Ron Weasley di sekuel harry potter yaitu Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire dan Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the half-blood prince dan sekuel harry potter terakhir yaitu Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows .
